David and Sammye Rogers fell in love as teenagers, sharing a common heart for ministry to young people. As early as age 17, they found themselves involved in street ministry to troubled teens, and through the years have served in manyvarious roles – as children and youth pastors, on prison ministry teams, youth missions directors and walking the streets of the U.S. and many foreign countries in order to share the love of Jesus with hurting young people.

David and Sammye have also served as teachers of Children and Youth Ministry and Ministry and Church Planting at Victory Bible Institute, Victory World Missions Training Center, Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas; Rhema Bible Training Center in Columbia; and Bible Training Centers in Africa and Asia.
They also served twelve years as Youth Altar Counseling Directors and Youth Missions Project Directors for a major church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. David and Sammye have been members of Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 2005 and members of Victory Fellowship of Ministries since 2008.

In 2009 a youth movement was birthed in Monrovia, Liberia through YouthVision International. YouthVision Bible Clubs were formed and grew exponentially within just a few months. Within two years the clubs have grown to an average of 3325 youth in 93 weekly clubs in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Mali, Senegal and The Congo. New clubs are opening monthly. The youth who attend these clubs would never go to a traditional church but as they grow in the Word through the YVI Bible Clubs they start, not only going but serving in the local churches and communities.

In November 2010 YouthVision Leadership Institute opened in Monrovia and Kakata, Liberia. The Institute is a Youth Bible School in partnership with International Victory Bible Institute from Victory Christian Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. The first year opened with over 60 youth in the two Institutes.

School based YouthVision Bible Clubs were also instituted in a high school in Barueri, Brazil. Much growth is expected as more clubs are established in many more schools in 2011.

In 1997, the Rogers joined the International Missionary Center as the Directors of Children and Youth Ministry. Through the IMC, they trained pastors, students and workers from 35 nations on how to have a thriving children and youth ministry. They have also facilitated Bible Clubs for children in Africa, Europe, Philippines and in Central and South America for children who were not being reached by the churches.

In 1995, close to the end of the horrifying rebel war in Monrovia, Liberia, YouthVision International Founder, David Rogers, was present in the country. He saw and heard the stories of destruction of over 200,000 lives and the exodus

of nearly 1,000,000 people. It was impossible to listen to the stories and not respond in some tangible way to the suffering. David felt compelled to help the fatherless, motherless and homeless children sleeping in the streets of Monrovia. The result was the founding of a children’s ministry reaching over 2000 per week and orphanage that today is home to 33 children and school to over 75 community students..
